As we enter the harvest season, it's a fitting time to reflect on how vital infrastructure like railroads once were in shaping local agricultural success. Learn how the owner of the Mill at Anselma, John Oberholzer, was instrumental in persuading the Reading Railroad to build a spur line through the village near the Mill. The result was the Pickering Valley Railroad, which not only facilitated the movement of goods but also played a significant role in growing the community. Presentation by Docent Tom Tanner.
