This inspiring lecture explores the lives of Chester County women patriots, including Mary Frazer, Anna Nutt, Rebecca Grace, Hannah Freeman, and Abigail Hartman Rice. Learn how women shaped political, economic, and social life during the Revolutionary era and beyond.

Presenter: Robyn Young is an independent historian and author dedicated to uncovering the stories of Pennsylvania’s trailblazing women. Known as the “Marker Lady,” she has secured 25 state historical markers through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and four on the National Votes for Women Trail. She is the author of Women in Penn’s Woods and Women’s Suffrage in Pennsylvania and currently serves as Secretary for the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites. Since 1999, she has brought local history to life through her traveling show, Hera’s House.
